Dr. Michelle Kneeland

As graduate of Tufts Veterinary School, Dr. K has 15 years of experience treating birds including backyard poultry. She first began working with backyard flocks in 2009, when she led a program teaching low income chicken owners how to increase their egg production as a food source for their families.

Today, Dr. K runs her own mobile veterinary practice based in New England, where she travels around treating backyard flocks and other exotic pets.

Working with backyard chickens, she quickly realized that most owners were relying on online resources that are inaccurate and misleading - often giving dangerous advice. She created Chicken Vet Help to give chicken owners a better resource for all their chicken health questions.
